XRD machine is under maintenance due to unexpected problem

Dear all XRD applicants,

For your information, our XRD machine is under maintenance due to unexpected problem. The service engineer is trying to solve the problem in the near time. The XRD machine is expected to back on operation as normal probably on next week. The applications for using XRD are closed for booking.

XRD schedule will be arranged as soon as possible

              

Dear all XRD applicants,

For your information, our XRD machine is under maintenance due to unexpected problem. The service engineer is trying to solve the problem in the near time. The XRD machine is expected to back on operation as normal probably on next week. Anyway, the applications for using XRD are still opened for booking with submitted the completed filled forms to us.  

We will process the application forms and arrange the entire booking schedule after all problems resolved. Please check the reservation table on our website and we will update all the information of XRD in Sustainable Engineering Research Cluster by time to time.

Dear all XRD applicants in Sustainable Engineering Research Cluster, we are looking forward to improve our efficiency of using XRD. In order to apply the using of XRD, some procedures have been set up and it is compulsory to be followed by all of the applicants starting 20/1/2014:

Firstly, all applicants need to download the XRD form from our website:    

xrdsustainablecluster.blogspot.com

As a remind, the XRD form will not be prepared by us, all applicants need to download the form themselves.

Secondly, the applicants need to check the available/free booking slots from our website.  Only every Tuesday and Thursday are available for undergraduate (FYP) students. Postgraduate students (MSc/PhD) are allowed to apply for Monday-Friday as long as there is an empty slot in the schedule.  

Thirdly, applicants can choose any three(3) available/free slots to be fill in the XRD form. Then, we will select only one(1) of the available/preferred slot that you have chosen. The details of applicant of XRD and sample information must be completely filled in. Anyone who try to give wrong/hidden/cheating informations especially those samples which have hazardous properties will not be allowed to use the XRD lab next time.

Fourthly, after completely filled in the form, applicants need to get the signature from their supervisor before signed by our authorized XRD person in charge:

• Dr. Mohd Sobri Idris

Lastly, pass the form to our XRD officer (En. Mohd Faisal bin Rusli). He will arrange the XRD schedule.
